During this workshop you will be making a tapas set comprised of up to 3 pieces per person, you decide which! You will be able to select the shape of your pieces from our very creative and fun range of moulds, which we have designed and made bespoke for this class. We have plates, nesting plates and bowl options for you to choose from.

What to bring
Since this is a hand building only class it will not get super messy, we do however recommend that you bring either an apron or an old t-shirt to put over your clothes if you can.
Ideally have your nails cut short and your hair tied up.
As this is a BYOB class you can bring a drink of your choice and a takeaway cup (please note we do not provide glassware or ice). Whilst we are happy for you to bring a drink or two to add a bit of fun and summer freshness the purpose of the class is to make pottery, so please keep the drinking within reasonable limits - any person that is deemed to be too drunk will be asked to leave.
Materials and tools included in the course
Clay and glaze - The cost of the class includes the clay needed to create up to 3 pieces per student, all with the moulds you will be given access to during the class. For any handbuilt piece not done with a mould the maximum width is of 25cm and the maximum height 16cm. We will not fire pieces that are larger than this. Once your pieces are dry we will glaze them for you in one of our studio glazes (you choose, please mark your pieces accordingly at the end of the session). If you do not mark your choice of colour we will assume white glaze. If you would like to return for a session on the following day to paint your own pieces please let the teacher know so they will put your pieces aside and wrap them in plastic.
Tools - you will have access to all the tools you need for the workshop.
Terms of cancellation
All bookings are non-refundable.
If you are no longer able to attend your workshop, please let us know as soon as possible and at least 14 days in advance and we will do our best to help. If we can find another person to take over your place on the class we will issue you with a credit note for the cost of your booking minus a £20 admin fee. If no other person books your place we will not be able to issue a credit note.

Collection: 4-5 weeks after the end of the class. Please check the link “Collections” in the footer of our website to see when your pieces are ready to be taken home.
Add-on paint your own pieces details
Location: Gatehouse A, The Old Imperial Laundry, 87 Warriner Gardens, London SW11 4XW
Day & Time of class: as chosen from the drop down menu - MUST BE ONE DAY AFTER THE INITIAL WORKSHOP as otherwise the pieces will be too dry.
Duration: 1.5 hours (including 10 minutes cleaning at the end of the session)
Experience required: none
Max number of people in each class: 8
Collection: 4-5 weeks after the end of the class. Please check the link “Collections” in the footer of our website to see when your pieces are ready to be taken home. The teacher will glaze the pieces in our transparent glaze after they go through the first firing so that your drawings are visible and the pieces are food-safe.
